This course is for everyone who has to write activity reports, progress reports, final reports, performance appraisals, lab reports, minutes for meetings, book reviews, expense reports, trip reports, audit reports, and scrap/waste/defect reports.

This workshop covers:

  • How to cover the "Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How" elements of a report
  • How to format reports
  • How to adapt reports to different audiences
  • How to make reports as brief as possible, yet include all relevant material
  • How and when to use graphics
  • How to write minutes

Learners should bring a sample report they have recently written (one-to-two pages; five copies).
